Active Calories are the calories burned through physical activity beyond what your body needs at rest. This activity is key for weight management, heart health, mood improvements and boosting energy levels. The recommended guideline is to aim for at least 150 minutes of moderate exercise or 75 minutes of vigorous exercise per week.
Once Rolla determines your monthly average of active calories, you’ll receive a score of 80 when you reach that number. However, if you increase your active calories by 10% from this average, you'll achieve a perfect score of 100. It simplifies this comparison into an easy-to-understand score out of 100, helping you gauge your activity levels and progress towards your fitness goals.
However, you may want to find a way to burn the most calories for your body to burn all the food that you've eaten.
Here’s a short list of simple activities to burn more calories that are not hard to implement into your day:
💙Ten minutes of cycling
💙15-minute-walk
💙10-15 minutes video workouts
💙8 minutes of jogging
💙15 minutes of dancing
💙Take the stairs
💙Play with your kids
In the attachment, you’ll find a small graph of how many calories are burned during an activity. Of course, this is quite a general calculation that could depend on your gender, your current weight, and other important factors.
