Heart rate measures how many times your heart beats in a minute.
It can vary from person to person, and depending on your activity it may be higher or lower.
Higher heart rate can be a sign of physical activity or stress. In some cases, it may also indicate an underlying health condition.
Resting heart rate (RHR) is the number of times your heart beats per minute while you're completely in a state of rest. Usually it's measured when you first wake up in the morning.
Lower RHR is usually associated with better fitness and heart function.
